Cookies
The cookies below are needed for the site to work, with one exception: ad measurement (the ad_g and ad_attr cookies and the Google Ads conversion tag), which we use to learn which of our ads a visit came from and whether it ended in a booking. We do no profiling of our own and sell no data. We also record which pages you open here and how you use the search and the map — that uses no cookie of its own, and is described on the Privacy page.
| Cookie | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| hc_session | Keeps you signed in after the magic link. Stores only an account identifier, e-mail and account type — signed, no password. | 30 days |
| moeda | Remembers your chosen billing currency (USD/BRL), which determines how you pay. | 1 year |
| bh4_volta | Marks that you clicked back to the hotel list, so the list reuses the search that was just made instead of running it again. Stores only the value "1" and is deleted as soon as the list opens. | 20 seconds |
| ad_g, _gcl_au, _gcl_aw (Google Ads) | ad_g is ours and marks that you arrived from a Google ad — only then does the Google Ads tag load and set _gcl_au/_gcl_aw. When you arrive from an ad they store the click identifier (gclid) so the booking can be attributed to the ad; when you pick a room we notify Google of a quote (no amount), and when a booking is confirmed we send the order code, amount and currency. Google may also use its own cookies on its domain. | 90 days |
| ad_attr | Ours, only for visitors who arrived from a Google ad: stores the click identifier, campaign, ad group, keyword, match type, landing page and click time, so we know which ad led to the search or booking. Stores no name, e-mail or contact details. | 90 days |
You can delete cookies any time in your browser settings — the practical effect is being signed out and back to the default currency. Questions: admin@4me.network.
